Madalena Branco is an Analyst at the Brussels office of Technopolis Group. She is part of the Digital Line that provides policy advisory services for European Union policymakers to face industrial, economic and societal challenges posed by digital transformation and to seize opportunities enabled by technology.

She developed expertise in edge computing (EC), artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), and how this combination is transforming network infrastructure, enabling new use cases, and creating the next generation of data processing.

Before joining Technopolis Group, Madalena gained experience in the semiconductor market forecasting through data how companies are well positioned to capture value from these innovations, including rising costs, increased competition, and inefficient supply chains. She also worked for DG COMM as a Communication Officer conveying to the public and SMEs on political priorities and topics of political importance and/or public interest

Madalena has an academic background in European Affairs and is currently doing a Master in Artificial Intelligence for Public Services. She is fluent in Portuguese (native), English, has limited working proficiency in Spanish and has basic knowledge of French and Russian.
