Matthew Sewell is a policy analyst at Technopolis Group, working in the health and life sciences team. Matthew has developed expertise in health policy and systems, with a particular interest in financing. Matthew has used a range of methods to evaluate health policy across the board from nutrition to global health challenges. These include logic models, behavioural, statistical and thematic analysis, literature reviews and desk research.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Matthew worked in communications and project management for two SMEs, firstly in the education sector and secondly in the luxury goods sector. During this time, he managed a team of customer service staff and delivered key product launches before deciding to put his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Sussex to further use by completing a Master’s in Public Health from Imperial College London. During this time, Matthew worked on projects to evaluate global health system financing coordination and performed costutility analysis on competing medical venous access devices. He is a native English speaker with intermediate knowledge of Italian and basic knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
