Patricia Scheiber is a senior consultant at Technopolis Germany in Berlin. She focuses on how public administration is changing as a result of digitalisation and the impact this has on various social groups. She is particularly interested in the ethical reflection of new digital applications and the human-centred design of AI systems.

Before joining Technopolis, she has accompanied the digitalisation of public administration from various perspectives. As a senior consultant at a public sector consultancy, Patricia Scheiber advised authorities at state and municipal level in Germany on the topics of data governance and digital ethics. As a policy advisor at a Berlin-based think tank, she worked on bringing ideas and strategies for the beneficial design of digitalisation into practice. In this role, she has worked on the use of AI in labour and social administration. She has also written and coordinated various studies in the fields of digitalization of public administration, AI and sustainability. Prior to this, she was an advisor for the topic innovation of the public administration at a digital policy network in Germany. She also worked on this topic as a student assistant at a research institute.

Patricia Scheiber holds a Master’s degree in Media and Political Communication from the Free University Berlin and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science from Ludwig Maximilians University Munich.
