Sven Faugert founded Faugert & Co Utvärdering in 1992 and has worked with evaluation in different positions for 35 years. He stepped down as Managing Director on April 30 2009, but remains with the company as senior advisor on a full-time basis until October 2009 and on a part-time basis thereafter.

Sven Faugert is an economist and has a long and wide experience as a consultant in evaluation and as a senior civil servant.

Current areas of interest include evaluation as a general tool for organizational learning and development, and evaluation of R&D programs and centres of excellence in R&D. Recent evaluations have concerned different policy instruments in the R&D field, process efficiency of agencies in the environmental policy field as well as competence development programs in different organisations.
