A Review of the Effectiveness of the Governing Body (‘The Council’) of EPSRC

In this study, Technopolis Group carried out an independent review of the effectiveness of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) governing body (Council). In terms of its scope, the review covered all aspects of the operation of the Council, and its subsidiary bodies (Resource Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee), including the interaction of the Council with the EPSRC Executive (the Executive) and with its sponsoring department, the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS).
