Anke is an associate consultant at Technopolis Group with over twelve years of experience in science and innovation policy. Anke holds an MSc in Biology from Wageningen University and an MSc in Science Education and Communication from the University of Utrecht.

Her activities with Technopolis include evaluations of research institutes and programmes, impact assessments, policy studies, strategic support and programme management support. Her main field of interest are life sciences and health, science communication and projects at the interface of policy, research and society.

Before joining Technopolis, Anke worked as a policy advisor for the royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. She was involved in a foresight study on regenerative medicine, and advisory committee on animal testing and biotechnology, and coordinated a number of funding programmes for researchers. Before this, she worked as a researcher at the Dutch Cancer Institute and the Dutch Cancer Society.

Anke is fluent in English and Dutch.
