Ollie joined Technopolis in May 2025 as a Policy Consultant within the Science, Technology and Innovation team. In his career so far, Ollie Huxley has gained experience in public funding of research across a broad range of scientific areas.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Ollie worked for six years at the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), part of UKRI. During this time, he developed expertise in leading the delivery of research funding programmes. He also gained experience developing and implementing funding policy and strategy, including within BBSRC’s technology development and research infrastructure portfolios.

Ollie obtained his undergraduate diploma and Masters degree in Biochemistry from the University of Warwick.
