Rita Cimatti
Consultant
Rita Cimatti is a Consultant at Technopolis. She has a multidisciplinary background with particular interest at the interplay across economics, innovation and culture. Rita has developed expertise in public policy evaluations in the areas of research, innovation and entrepreneurship as well as education and skills. She has contributed to the design, implementation and delivery of evaluations, impact assessments and studies for international, European and national institutions. She applies a wide range of both quantitative and qualitative research methods, such as surveys, case studies, stakeholder interviews, workshops, developing a robust evidence-based approach.
Recently, Rita has been involved in the Evaluation of International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF) for the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), the Student Outcomes Study for science facility Diamond Light Source and Evaluation of Local Policy Innovation Partnerships (LPIP) Programme for UK Research and Innovation.
Prior to joining Technopolis, Rita worked at a Brighton marketing agency and management consultancy, performing multi-channel data analysis, project management, business development and developing strategies for effective digital capability.
Rita obtained her undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Bologna, completing at the same time a year studying abroad at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She holds a Master’s degree in Cultural and Creative Industries from the University of Sussex. She is fluent in Italian, English and has a good knowledge of French.
