Since August 2022, Technopolis France has been awarded the ‘confirmed’ level (level 2 out of 3) of AFNOR Certification’s Engagé RSE and Responsibility Europe label. The Engagé RSE label assesses the performance and maturity of our CSR approach. It is based on the international standard ISO 26000, which provides guidelines for social responsibility and an international framework aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The standard also respects the major international founding texts such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
This label is not a self-assessment but is issued following an external, on-site assessment conducted over 3 days every 18 months.
The Engagé RSE label is structured in 5 chapters of evaluation of the company’s CSR practices (strategic, managerial, production and consumption, local anchoring) and 3 chapters of CSR results (economic, social/societal and environmental). A total of 54 criteria are examined in the field by an assessor who comes to meet employees and stakeholders (customers, partners, occupational medicine).
The 8 areas questioned by the Engaged CSR label are the 8 core issues of ISO 26000 (governance, human rights, labour relations and conditions, environment, fair practices, consumer issues, communities and local development).
The Engagé RSE label is also a partner in the European brand Responsibility Europe. Responsibility Europe brings together leading CSR labels that are demanding and pragmatic, demonstrate real added value and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This European label thus aims to encourage the societal commitment of companies and other organisations to form a community of actors in the transformation of the economy and society in respect of the environment and good governance.
