Beth is a Senior Consultant and project manager in the UK Green Economy team at Technopolis Group. She has developed expertise in UK and European environmental policy appraisal and analysis and has particular experience delivering energy and climate policy studies. She has delivered work for clients including DESNZ, Defra, ClimateXChange (on behalf of the Scottish Government), and the EC (DG ENV, DG GROW) as well as other international and private sector clients.
Beth is proficient in the design and delivery of complex evaluation methodologies, including the use of theory-based impact evaluation methods such as Contribution Analysis, and qualitative Value for Money assessments using a 4E’s approach. Beth is experienced in qualitative research and in leading programmes of data collection and stakeholder consultation in a variety of formats.
Recently, Beth has led several studies related to energy efficiency in buildings, including a review of the approaches taken to Operational Governance of Energy Performance Certificates in Europe. She is the project manager for several ongoing evaluations for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, in the UK government.
Beth previously worked in the Environmental Policy and Economics team at Logika Group. Prior to this, she completed an internship at the Policy and Programme Division in the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). Beth holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Kings College London.
