Nicolás Pita is an analyst at Technopolis Bogotá. He has 6 months of experience as a research assistant, focusing on the construction and analysis of databases, economics, and coding. During this time he also gained experience in literature review, building and analyzing graphs; as well as in handling quantitative and qualitative research methods. His main interests include public policies, education, and regional development; with preferred areas of work in economics of education, public policy evaluation, and regional economic development.

At Technopolis Bogotá, he is involved in projects focused on public policies. In addition to his professional role, he is independently conducting research on the returns of higher education in Colombia in collaboration with two of his former professors from Universidad del Norte.

Nicolás obtained his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Norte. He is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and has intermediate knowledge of Portuguese.
