Adam Krcal, Ph.D., is a Partner at Technopolis Group with almost 15 years of expertise in analysis and evaluation of public policies. He has professional experience in the area of education, communication, international development, and research.
Adam has extensive expertise in designing complex evaluations, research, monitoring and evaluation tools and routinely undertakes a range of data collection and analytical methods, both quantitative and qualitative. Adam is an experienced team leader and project lead, having managed and/or directed a number of assignments across multiple policy areas for clients at international, European and international levels. Adam is experienced in working with a number of partners, ranging from higher education institutions, various research organisations, government and local administrations, international organisations, as well as with private entities and NGOs. Adam manages multiple framework contracts and evaluation studies with budgets up to €500,000.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, he worked for the OECD, Directorate for Education and Skills (EDU), where he worked on a range of assignments, from higher education quality assurance to analysing results of the learning outcomes and skills surveys. Prior to that, Adam worked for the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports where he led teams in charge of the higher education funding policy and of strategic analyses. Adam holds a PhD in International Trade and a Masters degree in International Relations, both from the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic, and he completed a student mobility programme at the Institute of Political Studies of Paris (SciencesPo.). Based in the Brighton office of Technopolis, Adam is a British and Czech national and is fluent in English, Czech and Slovak and has advanced knowledge of French.
