Marsha Gomez is a trained economist with a strong interest in emerging and developing countries, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. This passion has guided both her academic journey and professional experiences. Driven by the vision of a sustainable and inclusive economy for African nations, she chose to specialise in international economics and development.

Her academic background, combined with hands-on experience, has helped her develop solid analytical skills, especially in quantitative methods and econometrics.

Before joining Technopolis Group, Marsha graduated from a Master’s degree in International and Development Economics from Université Paris Dauphine. She previously completed the first year of the Master’s program in Economic Analysis and Policy at Université Paris Nanterre, and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Marsha’s interest in African economies led her to a first professional experience in Benin, where she worked as an Economic Analyst at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. She also contributed to the Governance, Peace and Security survey at the DIAL research center in Paris — affiliated with Université Paris Dauphine and the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development. In this role, she conducted a literature review and was involved in data cleaning and analysis. In addition, Marsha worked on several academic projects, including her Master’s thesis : “Study of the impact of gender and racial representation on violence in Brazilian municipalities”.

Marsha is a French native speaker and is fluent in English. She also has knowledge of Italian and Spanish.
