Lora Zhechkova joined the Education, Skills & Communication team of Technopolis UK as an Analyst in March of 2025. She is skilled in social and public policy evaluation, with specific interest in higher education, skills development policies and life-long learning. In the past, Lora has completed internships in the public sector and has worked as a Government Relations Trainee in a major financial infrastructure provider in Luxembourg, focusing on Sustainable Finance & Corporate Responsibility policies. Throughout her professional and academic experiences, Lora has successfully applied a range of research methods, including case studies, literature reviews, interviews, and survey analysis.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Lora completed her MSc in International Social & Public Policy at the London School of Economics, with an emphasis on education reform, the future of work and gender equality. Her Master’s thesis analysed violence against women legislation in the context of democratic backsliding, for which she was awarded the LSE Department of Social Policy Prize for Outstanding Dissertation. Lora also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University Paris Nanterre in France. She is fluent in English, French, Bulgarian, and is conversational in German.
