Mikaela Almerud is the Managing Partner at Faugert & co Utvärdering AB/Technopolis Sweden.
Mikaela has an expertise in higher education; labour market relevance, labour market outcomes, employers engagement, knowledge transfer, quality assurance and assessment, funding, governing and manageent and Life long learning. She is experienced in a range of methods such as interviews, surveys, case studies, desk research, literature reviews, statistical analysis and benchmarking studies.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Mikaela spend a decade as an expert at the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, extensively within higher education but also within migration and higher vocational education and training. She was the Swedish delegate in the Education Committee in Business at OECD, an international business network with a global membership, for eight years. She has been involved in several national Commissions in Sweden. She was for instance appointed by the governement as an expert in the national delegation of validation. She has also been part of the reference group for the national system for quality assurance at the Swedish Higher Education Authority for ten years.

Mikaela holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and a Masters degree in Information Science from Lunds University in Sweden. Mikaela is fluent in Swedish and English and can understand German and Norwegian.
