Dr. Eva Wanek is a Consultant working in the Green Economy field in the Berlin office of Technopolis Group. She is particularly interested in behavioural ecological economics, environmental valuation, and the Ocean Economy.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the CNRS in France within the Horizon Europe project BIOcean5D, where she evaluated ocean conservation strategies in terms of their potential to enhance marine ecosystem service provision.

During her doctoral research at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, she conducted both theoretical and experimental analyses of stated preference methods for environmental valuation, with a particular focus on their ability to capture plural environmental values.

In addition to her doctorate, she holds an MSc in Economics and Psychology from the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne and the Paris School of Economics, and a BSc in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin.

She is a native German speaker and fluent in English and French.
